Indigenous Education Leadership Institute

The Indigenous Education Leadership Institute is the result of an innovative partnership between Education Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology.

Based at QUT's Caboolture Campus, IELI:

delivers quality leadership programs to principals and teachers to enhance the teaching of Indigenous school students;
develops, facilitates and supervises highly innovative Indigenous education research projects;
strengthens links with governments, schools and universities in other states facing Indigenous education challenges; and
nurtures and develops stronger, smarter Indigenous leadership in communities.

All our activities are designed to Improve Indigenous Student Outcomes throughout Australia.

Program 2: 25-30 May, follow up: 29-30 July

Program 4: 26-31 October, follow up: 4-5 December 2008 (TBC)
